All hail, The Coveteur

When I found out that I had the opportunity to not only meet, but chat, with Stephanie Mark from The Coveteur, I about lost it. Not only was this the most perfect time to get the inside scoop on what it takes to create a true trend setting, behind-the-scenes type of online publication (stay tuned for what's next from adoptedSTYLE), but there is no one I would rather have true girl talk with other than the co-founder herself.

LD: I know you've traveled along way to join us here in Chicago! What is the one thing you could never travel without?
SM: Hands down, chargers. Lots of them!
LD: What is your personal staple piece that you're always drawn to?
SM: A good dress. It rotates from season to season and this season I got the Givenchy floral print dress. You have to have just one thing that you know you can wear day or night, with flats or heels, and that you always just feel great in.  You also always need a great pair of fashion sweat pants for travel!

LD: So, it is definitely not a secret that creating something as incredible as The Coveteur takes a tremendous amount of dedication. What advice do you have for those aspiring to one day be a power woman alike yourself?
SM: You just have to find something that separates yourself. You have to be ready to give up your life. You have no weekends, you don't see your friends, you may have to travel a ton, and you need to be prepared to do all of this. The great news -  that the rewards is well worth it in the end - and it is just so much fun.

LD: And last but not least, what is the one thing you wish you could do while you're here in Chicago?
SM: I actually already got a chance to do it on Thursday! It was to visit Ikram and it was awesome. I actually had a whole plan to change into a cute outfit, go check it out, but my room wasn't ready when I got in so I ended up just going over in my plane clothes, ick. I actually might go back this afternoon if I have time {shhhh!}
